Chase Hymel
Chief Information Security Officer
Chase Hymel serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the State of Louisiana, where he leads statewide efforts to protect and defend government systems and data. With more than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT, he has advanced through leadership roles in security architecture, operations, and enterprise technology. Prior to becoming CISO, he served as Deputy Director of Information Security and Enterprise Security Architect with The Office of Technology Services, and held engineering and consulting positions in both the public and private sectors. Chase studied Computer Science and Information Systems and Decision Sciences at Louisiana State University as well as IT Network Architecture at Louisiana Technical College.
